Coaching Defined

While coaching can be defined in many different ways, I subscribe to the definition offered by the International Coach Federation (ICF). ICF defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Based on my experience and training, I have found coaching to be one of the most effective and powerful processes to help people make significant changes in their lives and to achieve more success.

Collaborative Partnership

 Effective coaching is a collaborative and co-creative relationship between the client and the coach. As your thinking partner, I support and champion you to achieve your goals and to become the best you can be.

I hold my clients as naturally creative, resourceful and whole and work with you to pursue your path to greater personal and professional fulfillment. Conversations focus on your agenda and may include any area of your life, business or career. You may experience shifts that help you become more productive and profitable doing what matters to you. We can use 360° Degree feedback assessments and other tools to gain awareness of your leadership and communication styles.

And, at times I may offer relevant resources to support your growth while we collaborate on creating your desired outcomes. As it takes time to make behavioral and developmental changes as well as attain your goals, the best outcomes usually result from a six to nine-month coaching engagement.

You need a skilled partner to support and challenge you to achieve the results you desire. I have been both a student and facilitator of individual and organizational behavioral change throughout my career. Having completed an accredited ICF coach training program (CoActive Coaching through the Coaches Training Institute), I have been trained in effective, proven coaching and communication practices based on the ICF competencies. And, with a background in business and counseling psychology, I incorporate the latest knowledge and research from the fields of positive and social psychology, neuroscience, narrative practices and business leadership to support you.
Coaching is offered in one-on-one coaching, team and group coaching formats.
